Once upon a lifetime - Autobiographical storytelling with Roi Gal-Or

Each life is a unique story. Each of us is the main character, the heroine or hero of that story. Like classic wonder tales heroes, we too face challenges, overcome obstacles, fall in love and experience loss, as we follow an invisible storyline that reveals itself from day to day.

How can we shape and craft these stories so that what is personal to us touches something universal in our listeners? On this workshop we will explore together ways of working creatively with our perception, understanding, and interpretation of personal experiences. We will open doors to ways in which we can transform these experiences into artistic and meaningful stories - gifts for others and ourselves.

Välkommen till en Workshop i muntligt berättade med Roi Gal Or, berättare och chef för International School of storytelling UK samt lärare på University of Sussex. Under Berättarfestivalen 2014 bidrog Roi med seminarier och workshop, som blev en mycket omtyckt del av berättarfestivalen. I november kommer Roi till Umeå, och deltar i programmet under Mänskliga rättigheter dagarna http://www.mrdagarna.nu/

Därför kan vi erbjuda denna workshop fredagen den 14 november i Skellefteå.
